Introduction

This privacy policy will help you understand how we collect, use, store, share your personal information and how we access, update, delete and protect this information when using the NiView Camera app. Before using your account, please be sure to read and understand this privacy policy, and use our products or services after you have fully understood and consented. By using the NiView Camera app, you understand and agree to this policy and to the collection, use, storage and sharing of your information in accordance with this privacy policy. I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes set out in this privacy policy:

1. Basic Functions of the App

Account Registration

When you register an account, NiView Camera will collect your mobile number, email, username, and password. This information is collected to help you complete your account registration and protect your account security. If you refuse to provide this information, you may not successfully register an account.

After you register an account, you can provide us with your information about gender, birthday, hobby, marital status, education level, occupation, graduate school, income level, etc. This information will help us to provide you with more personalized service and recommendation, but refusal to provide this information will not affect your use of other features of this product. You can also change or supplement this information via the account information settings.

Indirectly Collected Information

In order to log in to your account, you can log in to this product and other services through third-party accounts such as Weibo, WeChat, Facebook, and Twitter. In order to achieve the above purposes, we may need to obtain and collect your third-party account information from third parties, such as nicknames, avatars, etc. If we conduct personal information processing activities beyond the scope of your consent to third parties, we will seek your express consent before processing your personal information. We will also strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations and require third parties to guarantee the legality of the information they provide.

Account Security

To ensure the security of your account, we will record the time, IP, city, and product name you have registered, logged in, and used with your account for the purpose of account security testing. In addition, you can further strengthen your account security by binding mobile phone number, logging in email, etc.

2. Location-Based Functions

When you register or log in through the app, you can choose whether to allow our products to collect your GPS location information through the pop-up window. If you consent to our collection of your GPS location information, this information will only be used for account security detection based on your location and to recommend features or content that may be of interest to you. We will not use the above information for purposes other than those described above. Refusal to provide location information will only prevent you from enjoying security detections and personalized recommendations based on location information, without affecting your use of other features of this product.

3. App Permissions We Need

• Recording: When the application is opened to talk to the device, the data collected by the microphone needs to be sent to the device.
• Approximate Location: When adding a device (such as NVR) to the application, you need to turn on the location information to obtain the WiFi information of the current mobile phone connection.
• Camera: When adding a device (such as NVR) to the application, you can scan the QR code to add a new device that is connected to the Internet, and call the camera to collect data.
• Storage Access: When viewing camera data, the app allows the user to save screenshots in the phone storage, and can view the content saved by the user in the app.

4. Improving Our Products and Services

User Experience Improvement

When you register or log in to your account through the app, we may collect device identifiers (IMEI and MAC address encrypted by MD5 algorithm), advertising identifier (IDFA), device model, system version number, screen resolution, internet access type, product version number, click time and frequency of buttons, software crash logs, etc. This data is used to count the number of product users, analyze product usage, troubleshoot crashes, and continuously improve our products. This information does not involve your personally identifiable information.

When using our services through a PC, we may collect your IP address, click patterns, page usage statistics, and crash/error logs for the same purposes.

Problem Resolution

You can give us feedback on any problems you have encountered via the Help Center. You should submit your mobile number, email or other contact information so that we can contact you and address your feedback. The contact information provided in your feedback will only be used for customer service communication. We will not provide any contact information to any third party except as expressly agreed by you or as required by law.

5. Security

To improve the security of the services provided by us and our affiliates and partners, protect the personal and property security for you or other users or the public, and better prevent security risks such as phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, cyber attacks, and network intrusion, we may use or integrate your account information, device information, and software usage information for authentication, detection, and prevention of security incidents.

6. Other Uses

Subject to laws and regulations, we may publish your personal information in an anonymized, aggregated, desensitized and encrypted form to form statistical reports or user profiles, showing and pushing related services, products, or features. If we use the information for other purposes not covered by this policy, we will ask for your consent in advance.

7. Exceptions for Obtaining Authorization

According to relevant laws and regulations, we may collect your information without your consent under the following circumstances:

• Directly related to national security and national defense security
• Directly related to public safety, public health and major public interests

The information we collect and produce within the territory of the People's Republic of China is stored in the People's Republic of China.

In order to handle cross-border business, it is necessary to transmit relevant personal information collected in China to overseas institutions. We will implement this in accordance with laws, administrative regulations, and rules of relevant regulatory authorities, and ensure that your personal information is adequately protected by means of anonymization, encrypted storage, etc.

IV. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We have adopted industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. We will take all reasonable and practicable steps to protect your personal information:

1. We encrypt and transmit identifiable personal information to ensure data confidentiality. Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC) are anonymized and encrypted using the MD5 algorithm on your device before collection.
2. We analyze login patterns and alert users via SMS if suspicious login activity is detected. Data transmission between your device and our servers uses custom encryption and HTTPS double encryption.
3. For WebView technology, we verify all file protocol URLs and restrict access to sensitive application data to prevent unauthorized access to private files and information.
4. We deploy access control mechanisms on the server side, following the principle of minimum sufficiency for staff access, with regular auditing of visitor lists and access records.
5. Our server systems use security-reinforced operating systems with account auditing and monitoring. Security upgrades are performed promptly when issues are identified.
6. We regularly train our staff on personal information protection laws and regulations.
7. In the event of a security incident, we will promptly launch our emergency plan, report to competent authorities, and notify you through pushes, announcements, or other effective means.

V. Your Right to Manage Personal Information

During your use of the app, you can access and manage your personal information in the following ways:

Access and Correct Your Personal Information

You can check and correct your account information and other details you have provided, including password, gender, age, birthday, hobbies, marital status, etc.

Delete Your Personal Information

You have the right to ask us to delete your personal information when:

• We collected your personal information without your consent
• Our handling of personal information violates laws and regulations
• Our handling and use of personal information violates our agreement with you
• You cancel your account, uninstall, or no longer use our products or services
• We no longer provide you with products or services

You can request deletion by contacting us through the methods provided in Section IX. We will respond within 15 working days. When you remove information from our service, we may not immediately remove the corresponding information from backup systems, but will remove it when the backup is updated.

Withdraw Your Consent or Authorization

You can withdraw your consent to the collection and use of your personal information by disabling the device features. For this product, you can disable our access to your GPS location information through the setting function on your mobile phone.

Please understand that certain basic personal information is required for core business functions. When you withdraw your consent or authorization, we will be unable to continue providing the corresponding services, and we will no longer process the related personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect the processing of personal information previously carried out based on your authorization.

VI. Personal Information Protection for Minors

Minors need a guardian's consent and authorization when using our products or services. Parents or guardians of minors are advised to read this privacy policy and minors are advised to seek parental or guardian consent and guidance before submitting personal information. If you are a guardian of a minor, you may contact us through the contact details in Section IX when you have any questions about the personal information of the minor you are monitoring.

VII. Scope of Application

This privacy policy applies only to all NiView Camera products and services. In particular, this privacy policy does not apply to:

1. Third-party products or services embedded in NiView Camera, and information collected by those third-party products or services.
2. Third-party services, advertisements integrated in NiView Camera products, or information collected by other companies, organizations, or individuals.
