Adding Camera Failed?
Troubleshooting guide for camera connection issues in WiFi and 4G modes
If Your Device Is in WiFi Mode

Before adding the camera, please ensure the device is charged.

Please use the correct APP — NIVIEW / niview-camera — to add the camera.

Connect your phone to your WiFi network (make sure it is a 2.4GHz WiFi network; most failures to add cameras are due to selecting a 5GHz WiFi network). If the WiFi is a combination of 2.4GHz and 5GHz, the device will determine automatically.

Verify that the WiFi name and password are correct.

Advanced enterprise-level routers have many restrictions and high-security firewalls that prevent most smart products from joining.

Reset the camera (when it is powered on, press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds and install after hearing the prompt tone), restart the router (unplug the router's power adapter and then reinsert it), and strictly follow the steps for adding the camera in the manual to add it again.
If Your Device Is in 4G Mode

Before adding the camera, please ensure the device is charged.

Confirm that the SIM card is inserted correctly.

Confirm that the SIM card has traffic connectivity.
Indicator Light Status Analysis:

Ensure your phone has network connectivity.

The SIM card is a NIVIEW card. After scanning and adding the camera, the first SIM card registration may take 10 minutes to wait, and a 7-day free data package will be issued.

Adjust the distance between your phone camera and the device if it is not recognized.

Reset the camera (when the camera is turned on, press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds, and release it after hearing the prompt tone).
